Chad Griffin - Owner

Bio

Chad has lived in the great state of Texas for the past 29 years. As a youth, Chad could be found hanging around his dad's engraving and sign shop, spending countless hours watching his father work. Since then, he has had the opportunity to work at the greatest sign shops in Austin, learning the ropes from the industry's finest.

Chad worked for two custom architectural sign shops, and soaked in as much knowledge as possible about everything from the creation of simple vinyl graphics, to the complicated production of channel letters. In addition to working in the production departments of these firms, Chad has gathered years of sales and installation experience as well.

Chad has also spent many years in the cheap yard sign, banner and
vehicle car magnetics industry. He is a veteran of one of the best
companies in the business, where he received valuable mentoring and training. He eventually held the positions of Lead Designer and
Production Manager at this firm before striking out on his own.

In 2004, Chad opened his flagship business, Griffects. As a custom
sign shop, Griffects specializes in everything from ADA signs to
vehicle graphics. Chad soon realized there was a high demand for Cheap Signs over the Internet and decided to put together another division of Griffects that specializes in Cheap Yard Signs, Car Magnetics and Banners.

In his spare time, Chad enjoys spending time with his wife of 13
years, Amy, and his son Gage. Chad is also an avid pigeon fancier who raises and flies Rolling Pigeons and New York Show Flight Pigeons. Some of his other favorite activities include contact flag football, basketball and motorcycling.
