Local (Austin) phone: 512) 447-4739
Email: Info@YardSignsCheap.com
2. How long does it take
to get signs made?
Our standard lead time is five business days from the day
you place your order and make a deposit. Proofing may add
2 to 3 business days to the production time. Shipping to cities
outside of Austin Texas usually takes 2 to 5 business days
via UPS Ground.
3. What is the set-up charge
for a sign order?
If the sign is text only, then there is no set-up charge.
There may be an art set-up charge if you want to include a
logo or graphic image (See question #4 below). We have years of experience converting
customer’s sign specifications into professional looking
signs.
4. Can I get a sample or
proof of my sign before you print them?

6. What if I don't like any
of the provided templates?
Feel free to select the "custom" template on the signs and
car magnet pages. These are completely custom made and you
will have the opportunity to review a proof of the sign before
it goes into production.
7. Can I change some of the
wording on the templates?
Yes. Remember to choose the "custom" sign option and refer
to the sign you like in the check out process.
8. Can I add a logo or other
graphic image to my sign?
Yes; but it must be in one of the following formats and emailed
to us: Adobe Illustrator 9.0 or less (.ai) Corel Draw 11 or
less (.cdr) Encapsulated Post Script (.eps) The above must
be converted to curves (points and lines) and need no adjustments.
This kind of artwork can be created or re-created by a professional
graphic artist found in your local area. Costs for this kind
of service range from $35 - $100/hour.
9. Can I get the quantity
100 price if I order 100 signs with four different designs?
No; each sign design is printed in its own separate production
run. Even if the signs are the same except for the phone number,
we must create a unique screen and print the signs individually,
so it is much more labor intensive.
10. I plan on ordering 1,000
signs over the next few months, but I only need 100 signs
right now. Can I get the 1,000 price?
No; our pricing is based on the number of identical signs
printed in the same production run. Once a set of signs is
completed, we break down the screen and print the next customer’s
signs. The screens cannot be re-used.
11. How do I mount my signs?
Corrugated plastic signs can be mounted in a variety of ways,
but most people mount them on either wood stakes, telephone
poles or metal stakes (H-wires or Step Stakes). The plastic
sign has lines or flutes that run either horizontally or vertically.
You must request that your signs have vertical flutes if you
want to mount them on H-wires. Horizontal flutes are better
for wood stakes because the sign is less likely to fold in
the wind. You can attach the signs to wood stakes with a staple
gun, but we recommend using roofing nails that include a plastic
washer to keep the sign from tearing. |
